Gaynor Humphreys - Director

Gaynor joined London Funders in October 2007 as our first director. Before this, from 2003, she worked in Brussels as the Executive Director of WINGS (Worldwide Initiatives for Grantmaker Support), the global network of associations and other organisations supporting grantmakers and promoting philanthropy. For ten years before that Gaynor was Chief Executive of Community Foundation Network, supporting the development of UK community foundations.

Her earlier jobs were in community development and management, mainly in councils for voluntary service. Her voluntary commitments cover geographic extremes, from very local activity in community-based organisations near home in North London to chairing an evaluation committee for a World Bank project on emerging community foundations in developing and transitioning countries. 

Yvonne Schwartz – Network and Development Manager

Yvonne joined London Funders in January 2009 from a PA role with a London based venture capital firm. Previously she volunteered for various charities including Capital Community Foundation, Revolving Doors Agency and Campaign to Protect Rural England. Her prior academic background includes studies and presentations about volunteering and community foundations in Germany. She loves reading books and playing the violin and administers two amateur orchestras in London.
